if they come into the country in only the clothes there standing in , they should be sent packing , no one looking for work would turn up at the gates like that , only people looking for a free ride

The ones who are here to theive, scam and rip us off where here before the border rules changed.
I take it she was pretty and you weren't really interested in the 5 languages

Well it's the 6th of January and I've not seen a Romanian yet. In all fairness I've only been in Romania 4 days though.

On a serious note I've seen a few interviewed on TV and since arriving they'd all found jobs. Says a lot for our own home grown unemployed.

Does it really matter if those people can find jobs? These deals are made for the wealthy. People in the UK want to invest in those country's. Probably some type of sweet mining deal cause of the uproar over foreigners not being able to land in Bulgaria. The ruling elite are always looking to make money using their power and screwing the public they serve. Here in America they let in all the illegals cause the democrats want votes and the republicans want cheap labor. They don't give a dam that these people drive wages down and burden every social service that the hard working taxpayer pays for. To me their is nothing i can do about it cause every time i think about it makes me want to get a gun and shoot the bastards but violence isn't the answer so i guess you just take it.

Labour have done the same in the UK. They know that most people with get up and go wont vote for them. They opened the gates to immigration knowing that they'd initially get the votes as they target the low paid voter. What they don't realise that most people if they are prepared to leave their home country and drag their family with them will work hard to better themselves and eventually work out of the low paid bracket then see how much they'd be shaffted by voting labour.

Yes but some of the migrant workers in bettering themselves will shaft their own compatriots coming to these shores. Off the back of them they will make their illegal fortune and then join the Cons....shafting everybody!
With a lot of local unemployed reluctant to work for a pittance replacing them with imported workers working for half a pittance, once they go their residency will breed and then claim all they get and even possibly work on the side.. only the rich win!

Ted Heath opened it up by joinging the Common Market/EU/EEC or whatever you want to call it lately. Successive governments just chose to quietly hide the 1968 agreement and not talk about it until it suited their agenda. I moved for the job I have, albeit 30 miles, then a few years later the job moved 150 miles away from me I still travel to the job, but also work from home a lot

It wasn't implied because people from the UK who commit offences also go off to work and holiday in foreign countries. Strange but true. Anyone who wants to impose restrictions on EU citizens coming to the UK to work might want to think about that as well. I haven't seen anything on the news about the Roma turning up at Dover yet with horses and carts, perhaps the Torys, UKIP and co haven't paid anyone to do that yet?

If you are an EU citizen from a member state you can freely move across countries - regardless of spent convictions.... The migrants who come to work in this country are in the whole making it better, by paying more taxes which helps support the country.

As for taking jobs, there are lots of low level paid jobs that brits take from local greeks, cypriots, spanish and australian folk when we enter their country and work with hardly any pay, bunk up in 8 to a flat type accomodation, live off beans and noodles...... An yes,, ,that is from experience.

The royal family live off the land very well, they get the pesents to pay them for the pleasure.
This place is so bad that we have Japanese companies building nuclear power stations here. I'm so glad that the safety record of Japanese nuclear plants is so high......

                              Off topic:
The reason the nuke plant failed in Japan was cause the backup generators used electric for a power source. No electric no back up. Should of used diesel.

I see the Germans are now questioning the EU on ruling a Romanian being able to collect welfare without looking for a job. Isn't this the reason Romania is dumping their poor. They have no money to pay welfare.
