We oppose the poposal to change the August Bank Holday to Margaret Thatcher Day - e-petitions

The idea of a maggie thatcher day is abhorent, but I think it would be best not to encourage people to sign the e-petition because if it reaches the target number required in will ensure that there has to be a 4 hour debate on the subject, whereas if the petition fails the bill is very unlikely to get enough of a time slot for it's second reading and so would then just die a death.

I think she should have a day in rememberance.............how about the 17th of march?? That way us Paddy's and you Britt's can all celebrate together by drinking and rioting in the streets.....lest we not forget .
