I can see why some don't like her but she came to power at a difficult time in England and the world and made tough decisions in what she believed in despite if they were unpopular or not. Not many politicians today would do that. She does deserved to be remembered but not a day of remembrance. No politician should have a day. The only people who are and deserve that is the ones who died for their country.
