The guy has the rifle in both hands as he's cornered by the Policeman and asked to place the rifle on the ground. It looks as if he is complying and placing the rifle down but if you watch his right hand is moves behind his back where he has a concealed pistol. As he's drawing the pistol the other policeman spies it and opens fire before the gunman has a chance to fire. It caught m t also until I looked closely. I shows how little time they could have to react. If he other policeman hadn't fired the first policeman could have been killed.

As for the video being fake who knows but it does show what could happen. As for being thrown forward by gun shots this only happens in the movies. A bullet doesn't throw you in the direction it is travelling as it's mass is too small. It'll carry a small part of flesh in the direction of travel but it's kinetic energy gets dumped in the body. That's why shooting a melon or sandbag etc they just penetrate it as opposed to throwing them backwards.

I can't see where in the body he was shot but when I was in the Forces we were trained to double tap. One in the body and one to the head to kill out right. The body shot as it was a larger target and stops the enemy from advancing and the head to finish them off.
