A court in Italy has reinstated the guilty verdicts against Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito for the murder of UK student Meredith Kercher in 2007.

American Knox - who is in the US - and her Italian ex-boyfriend Sollecito had pleaded not guilty.

She was sentenced to 28 years and six months in jail, while Sollecito received 25 years.

The latest verdict overturns the pair's successful 2011 appeal, which freed them after four years in jail.

Ms Kercher was stabbed to death in the flat she shared in Perugia with Knox.

After nearly 12 hours of deliberations, the judges delivered their verdict in a courtroom in Florence, Tuscany.

She is guilty, and she is running away from Italian justice, wasn’t surprised the black immigrant was the only one to be convicted when no DNA evidence was against him.

I think it is the court, based on the evidence that has found them guilty, getting her back to court in Italy is another!!!

See the ex boyfriend has been arrested in Italy near the Austrian border ,I think the Italians might have to bargain with the USA
to swap with some Italians gangsters the USA want extradited .Hope Italy have not signed the same deal that Briar and Labour did
(we can have anyone extradited to the USA that we want even if we have got no evidence, but if you want a yank Tough you can not have them)
On the news it said she will never be able to leave the USA because when her passport is scanned it will show she is a wanted,
so she will be a prisoner in her own country. Seems better than a Italian prison
