    With all that rain and floods and now sink holes in the farms rumours around that price of potatoes and onions going to triple this year.

          It will be a while before farmers can work their land again due to saturation and this problem is more frequent now with the bad wet winters and summers we've been having but a lot of vegetables are imported now from the warmer countries and there never seems to be a shortage.I'm, talking about the big supermarkets.

            UFF. Used to pack potatoes, xmas eve ish, local store rings up MUST MUST have some spuds send a lorry NOW

            F@@k off mate, xmas eve you want them, come fetch them. Not long later manager turns up in his own car
            fills the trunk with spuds abs fks off.


            couple hours later spud packer logs off, goes to supermarket selling spuds at leasss than they paid for them
