Perhaps we need one of these

Amid fears Russia could send troops into Ukraine and mystery over its ousted president, George Osborne says Britain will be ready 'with a chequebook' to help 'rebuild' country

Britain has offered to help fund an international financial rescue package for Ukraine amid mounting fears that Russia may intervene following the country's revolution.
George Osborne, the Chancellor, said that Britain and other countries will be ready “with a chequebook” to help “rebuild” Ukraine following the bloody violence that has seen 88 killed and hundreds more injured.

Ukraine revolution: Britain offers cash to Kiev as the world waits on Putin - Telegraph

perhaps we need a revolution to kick out the tosspot MP's who keep giving money to everywhere except it's own country and people. Doesn't matter that we have a deficit that we'll barely ever be able to pay off, can't afford to repair our own roads and infrastructure, let's just give the cking money away to other countries and shaft the UK taxpayers for more *shrug*

“We are here ready to help just as soon as there is someone at the end of the telephone,” Mr Osborne said. He added: “We should be there with a chequebook to help the people of Ukraine rebuild their country.”
Perhaps rebuilding the one in the UK isn't important enough to him

And there's me thinking this is the same guy that just the other said he wouldn't bail out Scotland if it went independent and ran into trouble. Even though we've been bailing out the rest of the UK since the 70s. You couldn't make it up.

I sort of agree with you, but then only bailing out the UK since the 70's doesn't make up for the 260 years before that when the rest of the UK was bailing out Scotland instead *shrug* I think we'll just disagree on who's bailing out who, to what extent and what extent it may be required in the future.

However I, like most people, am cking sick to death of the UK putting it's hand in it's pocket (which is already full of holes due to raids by bankers) to offer even more money to countries that would never have done the same for us. The UK is flat sh*t broke when it comes to looking after it's own citizens and yet the second some other countries decides it wants money or any help we're straight in there, borrow more money to bail them out. The kin number 1 priority for this government, and any other for that matter, is the interests of it's own country first. This government is failing very badly at that and it shows that they don't give a uck for people in the UK, voters of not.
