Britain is due to be warmer than mainland Spain and Ibiza next week as temperatures here reach 21C (70F), forecasters said.

London will hit 20C (68F) tomorrow and 21C (70F) on Monday, making it hotter than Madrid (17C), the Balearic Islands (18C) and the French Riviera (16C-17C), Meteogroup said.

It means plenty of time in the sun as the clocks go forward an hour for the start of British Summer Time (BST) overnight tonight

Ah, you should know by now, when the BBC or newspapers say the 'UK' they mean the south, namely London. In winter "The UK is shutdown by snow" means a very lost solitary flake of snow landed in London. The fact that the rest of the UK has had severe floods or been under 10 feet f snow for 2 months before that is just incidental and not newsworthy *shrug*

I thought Australia being the either end of the world between Indian Ocean and the other 2 you mention, I am sticking with UK.
