Suggest you use the services of your MP Arnold Rimmer to test this theory out since Politician produce lots of hot air
If car fails to stop because of Heat fatigue and Arnold is squished then I will send My local MP as a replacement

Tessie May and her pals would never want to sit in a car that had a higher IQ than her party collectively has so they'll all end up walking in the future. Still all safe after 2040, they talk so much sh*t that they'll have plenty of methane to run their cars on.

You'll note tho, that in a world with ever decreasing amounts of oil that the armed forces won't end up driving around in Nissan Leaf's, hang gliders, cycles and rowing boats. Obviously enough resources to warmonger.
