I don't see why cyclists shouldn't pay for the cycle tracks that they keep demanding. Some sort of number plate and insurance as well, that way the ones that jump red lights can be identified easily and fined the same as anyone who jumps a red light. It would also help to identify them as when they undercut buses and get squished beyond facial recognition. It might help cut down on cycle thefts and the compulsory insurance will cover accidents and theft.
