Smoking could be banned in Trafalgar and Parliament squares and London parks if a report by the city's Health Commission is implemented.
Other suggestions include Oyster card discounts for commuters who walk part of the way to work.
The implementation of the scheme has an estimated cost of ?6.5m over five years.
The report's recommendations also include:
Lord Darzi told the BBC he would like parks to be a "beacon of health".
BBC News - Trafalgar and Parliament squares smoking ban call
So restaurants around say, I dunno but I'd guess, Westminster wouldn't be subject to the traffic light system
No schools around say, I dunno but I'd guess, Westminster wouldn't be subject to have new junk food outlets
I'd hazard a guess that, I dunno but I'd guess, Westminster wouldn't have teh drinking problems so drinks could be less than 50p per unit
I'd also hazard a guess that, I dunno but I'd guess, Westminster wouldn't be subject to measures to reduce air pollution since it'd be a must for people 'working' there to get to work in their government supplied cars perhaps....
I may be biased but........ do as I say, not as I do, springs to mind again
