Asia Bibi is a Pakistani woman who is a Christian in the mainly Muslim country, she has been sentenced to death for being a Christian.
Details can be read on the link below, think how accomodating we are to Muslims from Pakistan and how protective we are to them including by rules of law, surely Asia Bibi's situation should never have been allowed to happen.

The woman's name is a Pakistani name, she is not white, she is a Pakistani, she is one of the 3% of the population of Pakistan who is not a muslim.
The Pakistani community and their ways of life are allowed and accepted in Britain and numerous British men and women have adopted the muslim faith and the freedom to do this is lawfully upheld.
Yet a Pakistani woman who has adopted the Christian faith in Pakistan has been sentenced to death because they have denounced this as blasphemy, do you believe that to be righteous ?

What's the problem. If she's a good Christian she'll be going to heaven to meet God. You'd think she'd be happy. Unless of course she's like 99.9999999999% of religious nuts and has that little bit of doubt that there's no such an imaginary person.

While I sort of appreciate that she shouldn't be persecuted for being a christian I would have to ask wtf has what another country does to it's own citizens got to do with the UK? We should be more concerned about our own citzens and their freedoms rather than poking our noses into another country's business surely? If they were to listen to the British government, if Dave can be bothered since she's not a voter, does that mean we should also do the same when the Pakistan government disagrees with something the UK does?

The interpretation of religion by those who claim to know these things is utter bollox and should have no place in politics and the legal system. Sadly it does and until the links, the world over, are removed religion will be continue to be the excuse, and teh fuel, for many deaths. Religion should have NO influence whatsoever and should be a passive way of life. Sadly those with the most to gain will always jump in, and that includes so called christian faiths.
