Switzerland: Car ban considered for benefits recipients
What an excellent idea..
Also people on state benefits shouldn't be allowed to eat at restaurants and shop in normal everyday shops..
They should get a voucher similar to the milk tokens that used to be available.. and these should be used at shops created by the state.. unbranded items etc etc..
why should a tramp on benefits be shopping with the middle/upper class?? it makes sense to do it this way!
Spoken like a true right right wing voter. The idea of providing them with tokens instead of money is already on the Tory agenda. Perhaps next they will make them all wear gold stars as well, so that they can be identified easily.

Despite the cost of living, it's still very popular.

Is it perfectly acceptable to never pay into the system but constantly claim from it. albeit money or medical care??
I'd rather be right wing than a soft arse lefty cotton wooling everything!!
I agree Meat I never see the electric or gas I use (its all invisible to the eye) but I see the bill and the empty piggy bank afterwards
How do they get away with taking and not giving?
Also now I come to think of it I buy beer I never get to keep it I only hire it for a short few hours then I have to pay sewerage charges how fair is that?
So maybe we should add utility companys and brewers to the car ban list

Life isn't meant to be fair, and I don't know anyone who thinks it is. So for example if you need an operation that costs ?200,000 and you're 21 years old and have only ever paid 3 years NI and tax at some crappy rate of say ?2,400 a year does that mean you shouldn't get the operation, but can have ?7,200 worth of scalpel work done? Similarly will I get a refund if I never use the NHS then 'cos I sure as f**k have been paying a lot of tax and NI over the years.
