Bill Cosby Accusers Appear On Magazine Cover

Thirty five of the women who have accused Bill Cosby of sexually assaulting them have told their stories to New York magazine and feature on its front cover.

The black and white image shows the women sitting side-by-side on stools with the date of their alleged assault printed under them.

The headline reads: "Cosby: The Women, An Unwelcome Sisterhood."

The image, taken by photographer Amanda Demme, features model Janice Dickinson and Cosby Show actress Lili Bernard.

Barbara Bowman claims she was abused from 1985-87 and told the magazine: "I felt like a prisoner, I felt I was kidnapped and hiding in plain sight.

"I could have walked down any street of Manhattan at any time and said 'I'm being raped and drugged by Bill Cosby' but who the hell would have believed me? Nobody, nobody."

Many of the women spoke about their relief at being able to finally get their voices heard.

Tamara Green said: "In 2005, Bill Cosby still had control of the media. In 2015, we have social media. We can't be disappeared. It's online and can never go away."

More than 40 women have accused Cosby of assaulting them but many of the allegations date back decades and he has never been prosecuted.

Last week California's Supreme Court ruled that a lawsuit dating back to 1974 can proceed .
Cosby has seen his career nosedive since the allegations started to pile up, with TV shows and live events being cancelled.

He once admitted under oath to using the sedative Quaalude to drug at least one woman he wanted to have sex with, according to a 2005 lawsuit made public this month.

That case was settled for an undisclosed amount in 2006.

I feel very sorry for any person been raped or assaulted and recovery is very slow, they should always report the incident to the police and to the nearest rape crisis organisation, when this report can be available when the person is arrested.

With Bill accusers it all started when Magazine started reporting incident happened years ago, makes me wonder why women who are raped or sexually abused do not come forward and report it to the police and do you know 38 percent of rape victims sustain physical injuries, and 36 percent of those who sustain injuries seek medical care. Yet, 50 Bill Cosby accusers and not one sought medical care after their alleged rapes. This is inconsistent with the rape data from real rape victims.

I know incident in 1998 the Lewinsky sex scandal with Clinton she turned over semen stained blue dress to prove she had this relationship with the victim, when in most incident after Jimmy Savile not one evidence has been brought forward in the court of law?.

Not one of these ladies from 50 accusers has gone to get medical treatment and a rape kit, time to put up or shut up this sort of money grabbing accuses.
