And George commenting on it. I guess that the government is wanting to hide another expenses fiddle that's about to come out, or at least some bad news. Nothing like highlighting other issues to deflect the media away from your own.

Has George commented why this has been the case for years and in the last 5 years the government has done nothing about it? No thought not.

Forgot to add, George and co have added PCC's and soon to be elected mayors to that list as well.

although i dont blame them for taking whats on offer, but it shouldnt be on offer in the first place, there is no way they are worth any where near the amount they getting, and its tax payers money funding their lavish life styles, massive pensions, paid full wage when off sick, probably dont do 40 hours a week graft as well, ferkin disgusting it is with the majority slaving away for minimum wage, the only people who should be on this type of money are self made/business type people, not them fiddling basads who have probably been handed every thing on a plate all their lives, rant over

Totally agree with you. However as I wrote above "Why has Dave's comics and co chosen this time to publish the list?" They've been in power for the last 5 years and done absolutely f**k all about it. They have been able to do something and haven't, so why? All they've done for me is highlighted their own inaction and duplicity in "making jobs, with huge salaries, for the boys and girls they know".

Publishing it now seems more of a deflectionary tactic - that's why I think there's some bad news from the Tory party that's being hidden behind this.
