He also sent pretty student Jade Freeman, 20, texts vowing to get back in the England squad. She said: "He's on a different planet. Without rehab he'll be dead in 18 months."

The painfully frail soccer legend - sobbing over the death of ex-England manager Sir Bobby Robson and shattered his mum Carol is battling cancer - told her: "I WANT to die."
Jade was with him at a London hotel as he began boozing in his room at 11am. She said: "He put on Phil Collins and said it always made him think of Bobby, who was like a dad to him. He burst into tears and said everyone was leaving him.
"Then he drank six beers in 20 minutes like it was water. I told him to slow down but he said it didn't matter. He says he wants to die because when his mum goes he'll be alone."
Two crates of Stella later - at midnight - Gazza was comatose.
Jade, who for the past six months has lent the former World Cup hero a shoulder to cry on, said: "He was paralytic."
Broadcast student Jade, of Streatham, was outside another London hotel when Gazza begged for her number earlier this year.
They have met up several times since, although she insists they are just friends.

But Jade fears he will be lucky if he is alive to watch next year's World Cup on telly.
She saw the appalling extent of his boozing just weeks before he attended Monday's memorial service for Sir Bobby at Durham Cathedral - where he wiped away a tear.

He hugged a male pal who picked her up. Jade said: "He's a lovely man, but he's on a mission to kill himself. It's one he will succeed in."
