Here we are wittering on about Nick Griffin being allowed to appear on BBC1s QUESTION TIME.......

Has no-one noticed that they polled nearly 1 MILLION votes at the last Election -- and have 2 M.E.P.s ??!!

Personally I dislike their bully boy tactics - but they have a right to be heard -- Surely the 1 MILLION supporters can't all be racist thugs !!

A couple near me voted BNP because they're fed up about the way things are going in this Country - and they are originally from Pakistan !!

We're supposed to be open minded -- so let's try it.

the BNP are only a protest vote. I think if they ever got into a position when they are in danger of getting into power then all these "my vote won't make a difference" will get off there arses and vote keep him out.

Nick Griffin is a message to that brigade that if you don't use your vote you might regret it, cos you can guarantee that every single BNP supporter will vote, so get off your fat arses and vote to make sure you keep them out.

I agree, he should be heard. He is a democratically elected official - he is there because we put him there through voting for him, or not voting for anyone.

Those who want him censored to preserve democracy are hypocrites because it is democracy that put him there and democracy that demands he be allowed to be heard. Just because you don't agree with his principles does not mean he should not be heard. If you support censoring him you are the dictator who decides who should speak, and who shouldn't. Next time it might be you who gets censored, how would you feel then?

i dont agree with the BNP at all but i was disapointed to see the BBC employ a 'rent-a-crowd' audience to heckle everything Nick Griffin said

if you are going to vote for a party... make sure you understand that party and what it stands for.
the bnp was founded by john tyndall, a former chairman of the national front. he was also deputy of the national socialist movement. he was also deputy commander of spearhead... a armed group based on the stormtroopers of nazi germany, and was often photographed wearing nazi uniforms with swastikas.
the current bnp says its views have changed... however a lrg proposion of its members have / had links to groups such as combat 18, national front, the british movement, national socialist movement ect ect... is it a coincidence that so many are pictured with tattoos / pictures of swastikas, hitler ect.
I am British and proud to be British... you vote for who you want to vote for, as is your right, but vote because you believe in a party and its politics (and for f**ks sake make sure you understand what those politics are) but don't vote for a party because you are p*ssed off.
i for 1 will never vote bnp... they were founded on hate and violence and the nazi aryan beliefs.

People shouldn't be that much alarmed by the rise of BNP. You will find that the more they get into the mainstreem the more they will begin to sound like the big three parties. The proposed changes to their constittion to allow non-whites to join the party would for example force them to tone down on their hate speech and before you know it there wont be any distinction between them and Labour and the Conservatives etc. One thing for sure is that once this happens that there will always come another party to fill in the void claiming that BNP has lost its way. Because there are always peolpe who blame everybody else other than themselves for their problems.

One thing i dont understand though is what is BNP's stance on the hundreds of thousands of Brits who are leaving Britain to settle in other countries. Should they all stay here. We even have programmes like " A life in the sun" about Brits living abroad what di they say about that. Human migration is unstoppable, the sooner they realise that the better.

NG came out a winner last night. The last thing the panel should have done was talk over him almost in a bully like manner, he was as good as in a stock being pelted with rotten tomatoes.

Still he kept a smile on his face and would have won many people over simply by keeping quiet and letting the others dig a hole for themselves.

He is a very clever politicion and I am very dissapointed that he wasn't able to discuss Europe and our role within Europe.

The BNP are facists but when all three major political represent the same thing it is understandable that he is gaining popularity as people want change.

I didn't think he was bullied, he was scrutinized. It happens in a debate.

Anyone else think that the reason they get votes is because they portray themselves as the voice of the working class? No one else seems to care about the working class vote

I must admit I did notice that he didn't interrupt the other Speakers [like they interrupted him]

He didn't have a hope in hell of getting a fair hearing even if his Policies are wrong!!

Why isn't there a huge crowd demonstrating outside Broadcasting House every time Gordon Brown is on T.V. -- look at the mess he's got us into ??!!

The other Parties needed a Scapegoat and we all know who the easiest target is to take the heat away from them ..........

I still don't personally approve of his tactics -- but I think we'll be hearing a lot more from Nick Griffin -- He's a clever Guy.

Well i personaly think bbc shot itself in the foot end of the day nick griffin is leader of a party and shoul have given a fair hearing we know what bnp is all about most of there supprters are thugs but not all of them.
