It has been reported that Cliff Richard is unable to eat or sleep after a second person challenged the CPS ruling to not proceed with historic sex abuse claims.
Back in June, the Crown Prosecution Service said that there was insufficient evidence to prosecute the singer over the allegations that were made by four men, with the alleged assaults taking place between 1958 and the early 1980s
Cliff has always strongly denied the claims against him, and now The Sun have reported that he is suffering from insomnia and unable to eat due to the stress of the appeals.
Speaking to the newspaper, a source explained: ?He has stopped eating and can?t sleep; he?s totally consumed by this and at breaking point with frustration.
"He thought the whole thing was over. Those close to him are really worried. Cliff is incandescent with rage, in more despondent moments he threatens to give up everything.
"He claims he can?t see how this will ever end or how things could go back to normal.?
Two of the men who have made the claims against Cliff have asked for the case to be re-examined, the two reviews will be dealt with together and it is thought that a conclusion will be made by the end of the month.
When the case against him was dismissed in June, Cliff said that he was ?thrilled the vile accusations and the resulting investigation have finally been brought to a close?.
As the prosecutors decided against charging the suspect the CPS ruling can be challenged under the Victims? Right To Review scheme, which came into effect in 2013.
