New law will block the public from seeing police videos in North Carolina

A new law, which goes into effect on October 1, will block the public from seeing police videos recorded from body and dashboard cameras.

The timing couldn?t be more pressing for state officials as they are currently under scrutiny for delaying the release from the fatal shooting of Keith Scott.

Republican Governor Pat McCrory signed the legislation two months ago saying the law would balance public trust within the safety of police officers. This week, Mr McCrory ensured that he still supports the measure.

Good reason police will not be accountability, so how are we going to restore trust between officers and black community?

Look what happed just few weeks a go, let’s look at aftermath after Washington mall Burlington shooting Police arrested 20-year-old suspect Arcan Cetin but why they did not kill him he was carrying gun, look at the New York bomber Ahmad Khan Rahami he has more then guns he was also not killed both just kept alive, so when it comes to black people the only option officers have is to shoot to kill.

Dunno, try walk into your local UK police station and ask to see the video footage they have and see what happens. They won't let you see it either, they sell it to the likes of Sly tho.
State laws are always strange. If you want to go speeding try
Arizona, police not allowed to use speed cameras on the highways.
Arkansas Use of photo radar by county or state government prohibited except at school zones and railroad crossings; officer must be present and citation must be issued at time of offence
        Maine all photo enforcement prohibited

        and so on...
