UK weather: Snow could hit Britain within six weeks with cold temperatures 'to last u

Britain could be hit with four months of snow and plummeting temperatures this winter, a forecaster has claimed.

After one of the mildest winters on record last year, one weather forecaster is now floating the possibility of a white Christmas as snow hits the UK between November and February.

The sub-zero winter predictions come after the extraordinary hot weather during September when Britain recorded its hottest day during the month ever at 34.4C.

Winter last year also was considered mild.

Exacta Weather James Madden the UK could receive heavy and persistent snow for up to four months, Glasgow Live reports.

One weather forecaster has floated the possibility of a white Christmas - but the Met Office says this winter will be 'fairly normal'

What? that in, was it 2011, it snowed from the end of November until ck knows when and stayed until February? I look forward to not going into the office for 3 months, suits me Still no sign of Brexit, perhaps it will all turn out to be a dream/nightmare that Boris once had. Everyone will wake up in around 36 weeks time, get out of the shower and see Theresa May being oiled up by Dave 'the second hand car salesman' Cameron

Each year countries go through much worse. The UK gets through much worse each year, but the second a snowflake hits London the UK is closed.

Reminds me of how the utility companies will be rubbing their greedy hands if there is any truth.

Yes, if it gets cold they shove up the price, if it doesn't get cold they shove up the price twice as much.
