Father and son rogue traders are jailed

Father and son rogue traders are jailed after charging 71-year-old pensioner ?64,500 for garden wall which should have cost ?600

Jeffrey Tawse (pictured inset left), 52, and son James (inset right), 25, from Cardiff, ripped off the disabled 71-year-old man with a 'truly appalling' garden job on his front lawn (main).

The pair were caught after police were alerted when the victim, who suffers from memory loss after sustaining a brain injury in a cycling accident, withdrew ?100,000 from his bank account.

Jailing the father for six years and his son for two, the judge blasted them for 'preying on the vulnerable' in a 'cold blooded way'.

Prosecutor Lee Reynolds told the court: 'A chartered surveyor described their work as truly appalling saying it should have cost ?600 and recommended the wall be demolished.' A court heard it was the latest in string of cons by the father and son cowboy builders.

Instead spending his time on holidays, pensioner wanted to build a wall….
And for father and son don't let them out, they will do it again.

?600 for that wall ? God help anyone who uses that Chartered Surveyor ! Not a single brick offset, a Lego wall would have more strength than that, that father and son should have known how to have build a brick wall better than that because both their faces have hit a brick wall in the past.

I really don't claim to be some kind of an expert in brickwork!
Just happens that after a chat with a friend about the subject i did 10 minutes research on web ...
Well, i think that a good lawyer can get em off those charges by the simple fact that in that picture isn't technically a wall
