She warned about judges becoming increasingly political after shock High Court ruling left PM?s EU exit plan in tatters

Ms Evans claimed Lord Chief Justice Lord Thomas had a ?conflict of interest? in the Article 50 case as a ?committed Europhile?.

She told BBC2?s Daily Politics: ?I have been concerned for quite a while that the judiciary is becoming more politically active. I think there needs to be some kind of recall mechanism for them, possibly.

?I think they need to be more accountable and I think this case actually highlights it very well.?


She claimed Lord Chief Justice Lord Thomas had a ?conflict of interest?

She said: ?I don?t see why they shouldn?t be accountable to a select committee in Parliament.?

Ms Evans said the cross-party panels should have ?more teeth? and suggested they should be able to sack people.

If you ask me we are arguing that election results, I feel this is a very sad day for democracy, which part of that do the brexit High Court find hard to understand?

Its about the money. The elites are the ones who lose when the people voted to leave. If the judges overturn the vote what are you going to do? Revolt? The Government are the ones with the guns. I know in this age you can't overthrow a western society and i believe they will vote to leave. Now all you need to do is take back your towns and city's from the welfare sucking immigrants. The judges aren't even looking at the vote, it's not what they have been asked to look at. They are looking at the means by which article 50 can be invoked, not whether it will be.

So if the government doesn't like the judgement they should sack the judges eh? If people don't like the law they can also ignore it as well? MP's who are saying that should themselves be sacked. The government make laws, they have no part to play in it's application, otherwise they'd be making laws that don't apply to themselves. Would you prefer a government that ignored the law or told judges what to do? if so just hop on a plane to Zimbabwe, or Syria, North Korea or Russia and live there.
