a sensible post for once, is the world going to end soon as well? It is generally the case that they will always go after those making the money, no servers/streams = more customers paying Vermin/Sly or whoever instead, or those that can afford to and didn't because the other options were available. They generally chase the owners for the lost revenue as well usually citing millions in lost revenue. The sad thing is that probably 50% of those customers can't afford a regular sub so wouldn't ever be a Vermin or Sly customer anyway. However that doesn't make it right.

Kodi is perfectly legal, Kodi by itself pretty much constitutes as an Operating System the Add-ons which are installed separately are a different story, and he could have argued in court!!!

Why would they go after the manufacturers, making a computer where you can watch free streams or pay to watch streams is perfectly legal. That's like saying they should go after knife manufacturers. It's perfectly legal to make and own knives, it's just illegal to stab someone with one.

As for being a reseller - Yes he sold kodi boxes with software on them that allowed him to charge people to pay cut price for television channels that they didn't subscribe to, and he had no right to sell.

No they are manufatured to watch TV, same as Dreamboxes are. The difference being if you change the software to allow it to do something illegal then that's it. Next you'll be asking that the bosses of Ford, Nissan, Rolls Royce, in fact every car manufacturer is locked up because people drink and drive in their cars.
