Yea i agree with you m8. You ask the majority of these supporters what BNP's policies are on Education and National health for a start, and they wont be able to answer you.

I think the reason BNP has reared it's head lately is because the big boys of politics are sitting back and doing nothing about immigration. Extreme muslims are allowed to preach hatred on the streets of Britain and get police protection whilst they do it.
If you or i said the same thing about another religion you would be arrested for inciting hatred.

I think the Hitler thing is a very harsh, the way I see it is that people complain about Griffin and his views and policies, fine you believe and think what you want and you either agree or you don't, take it or leave it, but what does my head in is that people seem to be more volatile towards and are more bothered by Nick Griffin being in town rather than a cleric preaching real racial hatred and burning our flag and declaring death to anyone who doesn't follow Islam like they do.

Anyway my point is that I believe we should give Griffin a chance since we need to do something different and he seems to be the only one saying publicly what others are thinking privately whether it lands him in hot water or not, and we need someone like that to lead our country. Because we've gone soft and we need a kick in the pants to tell you the truth because everything that's happening is our own faults at the end of the day simply because we allow it to happen and we stand for it.

But it's not about what you think, or about what I think, it's about what the majority public think - and the BNP is getting more and more votes - so either way it looks as though sooner rather than later we'll all find out what the score is. I think whatever your political leaning, NG was treated shamefully on Question Time - which was little more than a set up witch hunt.
They are a legitimate party - but with some big question marks over them. I would really like to see some proper debate. I know what people SAY makes them tick but I would like to see it for myself.
Unfortunately, since they are regarded as a racist party, some (in my view) legitimate comments can be tagged with racism.
In the meantime, the mainstream parties have to acknowledge that some of what they are saying has struck a chord with ordinary people - and that is the reason for their increasing popularity.
