what a baitch
A "SADISTIC" mother was jailed today for pretending her healthy son was seriously ill.
Lisa Hayden-Johnson, 35, ? dubbed the world's worst mum ? subjected her son to "24 hour-a-day torture" to feed her love of publicity and money, a court heard.
She "revelled" in the national attention she achieved by claiming her young son was sick.
The mum-of-two, from Brixham, Devon, met Royals and former Prime Minister Tony Blair during her reign of deceit.
Cruelty
She also amassed cash donations and charity gifts, including two cruises and X Factor tickets from Simon Cowell.
So successful was her deception, her son received a Child of Courage Award.
He was also tricked into thinking he was seriously ill, before he was taken into care in October 2007.
Hayden-Johnson was sentenced to three years and three months in prison at Exeter Crown Court today.
She had previously admitting charges of child cruelty and perverting the course of justice.
Andrew Macfarlane, prosecuting, said her son was subjected to "lengthy and enduring" cruelty.
He said: "The defendant organised, orchestrated and ensured a regime of medical, physiological and psychological mistreatment amounting to 24 hour-a-day torture that touched on every aspect of his young vulnerable life.
"As a result of her sadistic fabrication of non-existent symptoms, the defendant achieved much publicity and national attention, including an encounter with royalty and the then Prime Minister."
She frequently described her son "as the most ill child in Britain", claiming he suffered from conditions, including diabetes, food allergies, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis and dysphagia.
Cops discovered a hospital bed, a feed pump, oxygen mask and medical supplies in the boy's bedroom. He was even forced to use a wheelchair.
