    Drink problem ... Emma Parker

A BOOZY mum was more than three times the limit when she picked up her tot from nursery - at NOON.

Staff at the childcare unit were horrified when they realised Emma Parker, 42, was reeking of drink.
They alerted police when she drove off with the three-year-old girl in Troon, Ayrshire.
Parker - who had been on a morning vodka binge - was stopped by officers at 12.15pm in the nearby village of Loans.
After failing a roadside test, she was taken to Ayr police office, where she recorded 122mg of alcohol per 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.
And yesterday her lawyer admitted the ex-bank worker has a drink problem.
Solicitor Glenn Davis told Ayr Sheriff Court that Parker is to undergo a residential detoxification course at an alcohol counselling centre.
He said: "There is no sense of denial by this lady. There is an acceptance of responsibility for her behaviour and the potential danger she caused."
Sheriff John Montgomery disqualified Parker, of Troon, from driving for five years and gave her 160 hours' community service for the offence on February 9 this year.
He said: "You are sailing very close to custody."
Last night campaigners slammed Parker's reckless behaviour.
Isobel Brydie, head of the Scottish Campaign Against Irresponsible Drivers, said: "She's lucky not to have caused injury or worse to the child, herself or someone else.
"It is totally irresponsible to be driving a youngster about while that drunk. The nursery's staff are to be commended."
The nursery declined to comment yesterday.
