with all the headlines about raoul moat this week, if he had been caught (well taken alive!). he no doubt would have got life or at least a good thirty years....
and with the country looking to make cuts and savings.why should we suffer in tax rises, cuts in services,while all these lifers be kept alive costing thousands upon thousands per prisoner each year. like ian huntley a cell within a cell on 24hr watch (suicide).The murderer has been in jail since 2003 and his cushy lifestyle there is estimated to cost British taxpayers ?1 million a year

1) Once they have been in gaol for 5 years, no alchol, smoke, drugs, DK
etc they should have medical tests, to decide what body parts
are useable.

Then the parts listed, stuck on EBAY then after a month, they should
have enough offers for the parts, down to the operating therete
and out comes the Dremmel.

Then just post the various parts

this country is a mess... we might as welll have a total open door policy we have no idea how many people are illegals here. the people who run the country are all on the fiddle (new goverment or not). the judges who give out the sentences are on a different plant and are so out of touch.we are losing our city centres,streets to yobs with knifes and guns.

they want to bring in a minimum price per unit of alcohol to stop binge drinking! nothing to do with the run down society of this country.

There is nothing ideal about the prison system, but is there anywhere ? Look at America where the death penalty is in use today, in those states that retain it there is still as much crime, the death penalty does nothing to halt crime it is pure revenge ! You can quote the problems like those above till your blue in the face, the facts are the prisons are full to breaking point, most criminals get caught and get sent to prison, like it or not that is how a civilised society deals with crime, it may not be ideal but it is much better than the barbaric practice of revenge killing.

Make 3 or 4 of these villages no more than 3 hours walking distance away from each other. Then give it the reality TV treatment with 24 hour televised coverage & condensed action highlights.

They will have a choice, make a life for themselves or die in a fight over who pinched the tomato's.
