One in five are happy if a bloke spends just ?20 treating them on a night out
The girls ? who come from places like Brentwood, home town of Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton, 26 ? are chuffed if they are bought a bargain burger on the first date.
Half of all of the county?s babes would also split the bill. Frisky Essex girls, known for their short skirts and white stilettos, do not waste time over sex, either. One in five (21%) admitted sleeping with a fella on the first date.
This is compared to only 8% of women in the rest of the UK.
The results were part of a study of 1,655 women for website Grupola.com, which revealed that babes in Woking, Surrey, are the most expensive. They demand men splash out more than ?150 on a romantic night out.
Two in five even wanted a ?300 dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Oxford girls were the least likely to split the bill, just 7% offering to pay.
Amazingly, 61% of Essex girls were happy to call themselves ?cheap dates?. They were followed by 59% of Liverpool lasses.
Third in the list were women from Newport, Gwent, who said they would not even mind if their man used a discount coupon in a restaurant.
Grupola MD Mark Pearson said: ?In a strange way it is endearing women wouldn?t judge a man if he took her for a first date on the bus or even to a burger bar afterwards.??
Other towns in the cheap dates top 10 are: Northampton, fourth; Slough, fifth, and Glasgow, sixth. These are followed by Hull, Blackburn, Middlesbrough and, Swansea.
