i think your missing the point here,
i think people who have quoted "christian culture" are talking about british way of life and how it is changing. not about practising religion
20 years ago i had no idea what a muslim was, i had never seen a mosque and for all i knew, a koran came with sauce and salad seperate...
it would be nice to get along better, but it seems to me to muslins are trying to change britan rather than integrate and this its what pisses people off.
dont think anyone would dispute that christains done terrible things in the 16 centuary, in my mind all, or most reilgions are destructive.
it amazes me that people will kill for a "god" that has never been proven to exist.

so is it incorrect then? maybe you could point out some reputable sites

and just correct a point in your last post, britain maybe an island now. but it wasnt always. it was connected to to europe at one point, early modern man walked to britain and was then cut off, so we are all not immigrants

As with ALL religions, it's the actions of the few that bring shame upon the others.

The crusades, French war of religion, Thirty years war, Tiaping Rebellion, The Children's Crusade, The Inquisition for heresy and witchcraft, the Holocaust, Rwanda, Boznia-Herzegovina, The Ivory Coast civil wars, Hezbollah vs. Israel, Syria vs. Israel, War of the Roses, Northern Ireland

All of these have a grounding in religion. As long as there are religions people will want to use force to impose their belief upon others. Free will does not exist infront of these people, yet it was god, or whoever, that gave man free will.

Most developed countries around the world have matured away from such activities. Conflict is an economical action now. But there are others that refuse to keep pace with a changing world.

The biggest problem with articles like this is that they can turn sour and descend into apparent 'Muslim' bashing quite quickly. I've seen it on other forums and it's always the same.

I have my views but some things are probably best not posted on a forum causing friction between members.

We are living in the 21st centuries when the public in large have the rights of free speech, It was the British who went to Africa and Asia to practice Christianity in the 18th centuries and thousands were devoted to Christianity so as Muslims are hear for the same reasons. Thousands have joined and they never look back. There is nothing wrong to know and to learn about any religion it?s a matter of choice mate so why condemn it.
