Ian Huntley ?60,000 compensations

Soham murderer Ian Huntley who killed schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman is to sue the Prison Service after he was attacked by an inmate.

Huntley was a caretaker in the Cambridgeshire village of Soham when he enticed Holly and Jessica into his home when the girls were killed and their remains hidden.

A Ministry of Justice spokesman confirmed the legal action by Huntley who is understood to be claiming ?20,000 for injuries suffered and a sum - put at ?60,000 in one report - for failure to uphold the duty of care by the prison officers.

If he gets compensation and when he gets out of prison that ?60,000 compensation plus interest for the next 15 years he will have enough cash to live a luxury life.

What?s your say should he get compensations or not and should he be treated as a normal citizen with care and comfort in the prison lounge.

Just my personal opinion ... they should compensate him ... then stick him out in the yard at play time and see how much of him is left to enjoy the money.

seems to me he wants it both ways.
he wants to be treated as a special prisoner and be protected due to his unbelivably disgusting crimes, but
when his protection fails (unbelivably expensive protection), he wants to be treated like a normal member of society and receive all the benefits that go with it.
do what manx spud says,
treat him like anyone else, see how long he lasts.
All you seem to hear these days is stories about animals claiming this and moaning about that...
it would make you sick...
i think this government needs a "comman sense tzar" in order to sift through these "claims" and file them in the bin where they belong...

The parents of Holly and Jessica were entitled to just ?11,000 each for what this bastard did. Thats just a little more than ?1000 for everyday of their lives before this monster murdered them.
The families should be given probably 100 times as much because they have had their lives destroyed.
Now this little scrote is suing for this kind of money and its sickeneing and plain wrong.

He should count himself lucky he's still breathing and walking around.

OFF TOPIC, but partly relevent:

If you drive your car into a wall, and give the owner a bag of cement
if they accept it, then they can't sue you as they have accepted this as compensation.

This also goes for when you ram another persons car (and kill it), and you
give them a lift home, and they can't sue you.

This is why M-H-M ALWAYS carry some 'free taxi ride' cards (cut out of local paper), to hand to people when we ram there cars.

I think we should bring back the death penalty and we want be talking about this. I can not see why the government is going to pay any compensation to the criminals and to what he did, it?s the law I can not understand mates.

The law will decide based on the facts of the case (facts that we don`t know) People who commit similar crimes to Huntley get a rough time inside. It comes with the job , so to speak.

The young girls trusted him because he was a school caretaker and the girls new them and it?s the trust which makes me angry when the criminals are behaving badly, mind you few girls reported to teacher that Ian Huntley was abusing young children and the matter was not investigated by the head teacher because of that trust I mention before. Another point I would like to raise is that every time some thing goes wrong the politicians always says that we should learn the lesion and I have been hearing the same answers when are we really going to really the lesion. I want to hear from the Home Secretary in the next few years that Ian Huntley should never been realised from prison, he should die in prison.
