ROLY-POLY family the Chawners sparked outrage by raking in thousands in benefits because they said they were too lardy to work.The 83-stone clan banked ?22,000 a year in handouts.
They were thrust into the limelight after tubby Emma made a series of horrendous auditions for TV hit The X Factor.
Then it emerged the teenager, her sister Sam and massive parents Philip and Audrey, were demanding more cash because they could not afford their calorie-laden lifestyle. Neighbours in Blackburn nicknamed them the Telly Tubbies because they spent all day in front of the TV scoffing junk food.
Mr Chawner even slammed their benefits, equivalent to a ?30,000 salary, saying: ?What we get barely covers the bills and puts food on the table. We deserve more.?
Emma, 19 stone, and Sam, 26 stone, signed up for a fat- busting TV show but Emma tried to escape after two days because she was ordered to do some exercise.
