    'Here you have' virus...

that promises free sex films causes havoc as it spreads across the world

A new email virus that promises a link to free sex films is wreaking havoc at some of the biggest businesses across the world today.
The 'trojan' virus, with the subject ?Here you have?, is filling inboxes with multiple emails after infecting users' address books.
In some cases, the virus is bringing down corporate email systems with the sheer weight of messages.
Trojans are malicious programmes that hide inside apparently harmless computer files.

A grab from one of the 'Here you have' emails which have been crippling businesses in the US

The virus arrives as an email with the subject line ?Here you have? and invites the user to click on a link to a PDF.

One of the most common variants promises a link to free 'sex downloads'.
Once they do so, the virus is downloaded onto their machine and spreads to all of the contacts in their email account, sending them the same email in turn.
The worm also tries to shut down any anti-virus software that has been installed.
Firms including Nasa, Comcast, AIG, Disney and Proctor & Gamble have all been affected.
Comcast was forced to shut down its servers yesterday afternoon after being hit with the attack.
The term ?Here you have virus? is now one of the most searched for phrases on Google.

One version of the email says, 'Hello: This is The Document I told you about, you can find it here' and includes a link to what looks like a PDF.
Another includes the subject 'Just For you' and says 'This is The Free Dowload Sex Movies, you can find it Here.'
If you receive the messages, computer security firm McAfee says to delete the message without clicking the link and alert your IT office.
Ram Herkanaidu, security researcher at Kaspersky Lab, said that the email closely resembles the 'I love you' virus which caused havoc about ten years ago.

His firm has now raised their global 'threat' level.

The email promises either free sex downloads or a link to a PDF. If the link is clicked, the trojan is downloaded onto the recipient's machine

He said: 'We've identified an email worm called VBMania. The interesting thing about it is that it uses very old tactics. In this case, very old means from about ten years ago.
'The worm is so called because it worms itself through your email address book and sends copies of itself out to all your contacts.

'The message has the subject line of 'Here you have' and random text such as 'This is The Free Download Sex Movies you can find it Here'. Of course, the messages also include a link to a file on the internet.
'For you to get infected you would need to click on the link, save and then run the file.

'In spite of this very basic propagation routine the worm is pretty active and currently sending out significant amounts of email especially, in the US.

'Because of this, and also because there has been a lot of news about this worm flying around we've decided to raise the threat level with the aim of informing as many people as possible.'
He said that users should delete any emails with the words 'Here you have' in the subject title, even if it is from someone you know.

You should also make sure you have a good internet security package installed and that it is up to date, he said.

Attacks by trojan viruses are on the rise in Britain.
Although up-to-date anti-virus software should prevent an attack, experts say an alarming number of people leave their computers vulnerable to cybertheft.
They can lurk on websites, online adverts or hitch a lift in emails.
Security experts say it is relatively easy to protect against trojan attacks by installing anti-virus software and keeping it up to date.
Computer owners should also make sure they have downloaded any updates of their operating software - usually Windows - and other programmes such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Adobe.

Tens years ago, think that can be classed as "I love you long time"

Just for reference at M-H-M the computer in the office started going slow as ~~~~, but the last time i tried to download adaware, spybot etc
from the boss of M-H-M for my trouble, ended up with "me, me me, i mee me me me me, ii i i i i myself , me this, me that mine, me ,mine, me, i i i i i i, me me me me, me me me, myself myself, myself, cash, cash, cash, quid quid, me, me,me downloaded a key logger, to log peoples passwords and you have deleted it, me me me" - selfish tawt if you haven't worked it out.

Any way went slow again, let him deal with it, pop to Reviews and News on Tech Products, Software and Downloads - PCWorld and search for adaware, that way you can be sure your getting the real thing, not a fake programme adding adaware.

Dumb ~~~~ clicked one of the adverts and got some shite instead, HAD to reformat!

Fat unemployed friend did the same, dumb ~~~~.
