If people really are willing to get others into bother for the sake of a few dodgy downloads then its a very sad state of affairs, especially when a little knowledge can avoid anybody getting into trouble.
I think some people deserve all the trouble they get
I don't download much anyway, I also only download from certain connections..... Those I don't like.
