A SECRET deal to let Indian *immigrants come to Britain to work will be signed next month, a protest group warns.
MigrationWatch UK reveals the Government is in talks with the EU and India to *let cheap workers snap up jobs before they are offered to Brits.
Under the EU/India Free Trade Agreement, due to be signed in December, firms would be allowed to employ an unlimited number of Indian specialists for up to three years.
The move is certain to make a mockery of Government plans to cap immigration and prevent over-crowding in Britain.
It will also damage the chances of hard-working Brits, hit by the recession, from *landing a job. Under the scheme, staff only need to have worked for one year with the *Indian company and there is no test to see if a *British worker would be available.
There are also fears many will slip through the net once they have settled in the UK.
Sir Andrew Green, chairman of MigrationWatch UK, said: ?It is time the Government came clean about what is in the agreement. British IT workers are already suffering the impact on jobs of tens of *thousands of *Indian IT staff working in Britain.?
A department for Business, Innovation and Skills spokesman said: ?Any commitments placed on the UK will be consistent with the Government?s commitment to reduce net migration.?
