Surely the black africans run africa now and most of african countries are kept in poverty by their rich leaders,rich african countries have gone to ruin since black governments have taken over so laying the blame at other peoples doors is laughable,Britain has become a source of wealth for immigrants from all over the world to the detriment of its own people in my opinion.

As well as everything that happened in the colonial past I think you will find that Britain had a rather large involvment in the late 1960's civil war in Nigeria where 100,000's of civilians were killed. This wasn't reported at the time and hasn't been widely reported since.

You are saying that the Europeans explorers came to Africa only for gold and diamonds and not to educate the Africans you are wrong the Europeans in the early 18th & 19th centuries came to Africa just in time because thousands of peoples were dyeing from deadly diseases from cholera, smallpox, malaria, and most of the villages were wiped out because I am looking into the Europeans as angels and you are looking at them the different way.

but it certainly ended up being the reason they stayed and still do to this day,,when the so called explorers realised what they had found in this continent they then decided to carve it up between themselves
look i could write 20 chapters about african colonisation by the west,,the bottom line is it was wrong and to this day we are still doing the same things world over,,only difference is we can fool people a lot easier these days with media etc into thinking we are the good people,,,why do you think apartheid was scrapped ?

africans are second class citizens in the west,,thats how the white man has always acted,from the days the explorers "discovered" the continent for themselves,,,,,islam was already prevalant in north africa and so was trade to europe
they didnt need us and to suggest they were lucky we arrived because of disease is ignorant and completely niave
look at the state of healthcare in that continent now what a legacy we left

Also how would you determine mashed? Look back in the history books mate, I think half the world at some stage has been mashed by the UK.
