have to say it was quite shocking to watch. there were many emotions and thoughts going through my head. everything from complete horror and disgust to how the ~~~~ did he get so big, pity etc wtf were his carers feeding him etc he asked for surgery ages and didnt get it. now before you all jump o the bandwagon the surgery costs around ?10000 which is a fraction of what his care is costing now.

yes obese people cost the country money (not as much as him though) but so do people with drink and drug problems, murderers (how much do legal costs an jail come too) even translators for those who cant speak the language etc the list is endless.

You are right there, surly you must know when you reach a point where the food bill is more than your income -i.e. when he was still working at Royal Mail but pinching letters etc then after his prison stint you would think he would put the brakes on his food?

I suppose the soft social work dept subsidised his benefits to top up his unemployment / disability living allowances so he could balloon up even more.

It is the same wherever you look, folk need operations to survive but cash is tight so they go on a never ending waiting list, then you read about those that milk the system.
