the point is hydrogen isn't a fossil fuel, so won't run out, it isn't limited to certain countries so can be produced anywhere, and it won't cause pollution. so three pretty good reasons to change.

its all a con if you ask me , when i was doing my mechanics/engineering degree there were inventions that would save the fuel intake of motors , all bought out by the oil company's , and hidden in the basement of some lab in Iran or Iraq ...

If you have a look at the Cella Energy website it seems they are in partnership with Shell...?

                The way i see this..

Oil company charges for instance 70p a litre for fuel. the goverment charges for instance ?6 a litre in tax..

The next big thing comes along all singing all dancing and promises to germinate the moon. at a cost of 16p a litre.. because its 16p to produce the goverment can now charge ?6.54 in tax's.. so the goverment say "woah son! back off.. The brewery used to fund us.. now its the oil companies.. but wait..we're british we invented this new petrol.. we can claim more in royalities so now we can make ?7 a litre"

But now Britain holds the trump card and iraq is now planning to invade us for our plastic fuel..

So yes the goverment will crush the oil companies.. in favour of this new "clean petrol" and scotland can have its independence and keep its black stuff in the sea..

And if you think im talking shyte.. the goverment fund science in britian..
ich bin stolz ein deutscher zu sein.

Do you know the Germans in WW2 made synthetic gasoline since they didn't have the oil resources. Always remember their isn't a shortage of oil in the world. the reason oil and gasoline prices are so high is the radical leftists tree hugging environmentalists want the price so high you won't use it and destroy the planet using their twisted science. The second reason is the governments that rely on money from taxing gasoline don't mind that the greedy wallstreet type run the price of oil thru the roof cause higher prices mean more tax revenue to be collected. I believe that anyone that is against using oil and is for alternative energy are the ones who are making big money perpetrating this hoax on the people of the world. Just look at Al Gore and how much he made being a snake oil salesmen.

If you think that's the 'green' option, you're wrong.

I've posted this before so I'll keep this short....

Do you know how damaging to the environment mining for the raw materials used in batteries is? That's before you look into the processing & transportation impact. You'll have to dig deep into the internet to find the answers... It's that bad.

Where does the electricity you use to charge these electric cars come from?

As long as we have coal fired power stations they will always provide the majority of our power needs. It's far easier to turn off/on nuclear, gas, wind & solar energy sources than a coal fired station.

The last info I read on this new fuel stated that testing was starting this year. They will be running prolonged tests using various mixes of synthetic & petrol mixes to check on any possible conversion issues.
Think back to when leaded petrol was phased out. If you used unleaded in a car than needed leaded petrol then valve seals failed... no more compression, no more broom broom.

The big question is, will the capsules cause clogging in the valves & exhaust systems? What will lambda sensors make of it? EGR valves?

Personally I hope this does work. But with everyone switching to a fully green fuel what will all the tree huggers & government blood suckers latch onto next?

                          damm fine point.

Will this fuel rot out engines and exhausts - run cooler or hotter?

would it destroy "sideward facing foo-foo valves" - or make them last forever?

Are you people for real. Do you really think the average person want Alternative energy other than oil? Only if it's cheaper. Also if this fuel works then the price of oil will become so cheap the they will give it away. Remember these company's trying to find alternative sources don't really have to make anything since they usually get big tax breaks and grants from government to search for these sources. It's all about the money it's always has and always will. So all you enrviro-communists stop pretending going green is for saving the planet when all it is is seeing how much green you can steal from the common working class person.
