    MAGIC PIE

Pastry: rub your stork/lard into the flour and salt until it resembles fine bread crumbs make a well in the middle add 2 table spoon of COLD water, mix using a knife until it comes together into a ball, leave in fridge to rest for approx 20mins, line the pie dish leave enough for the pie dish top.
meat prep: Put the seasoning, meat, onion, finely cut MAGIC and "magic's bone" cover with water bring to boil then simmer until meats cooked or 2 hrs add bisto ( you can use oxo if needs be) once cooked remove the bone and any large magic pieces off the top then Transfer to your pie dish then roll out an place the top of the pastry on the dish remember to put 2/3 slits in the top of the pastry to let the steam out, brush top with a drop of milk bake in a moderate over approx 160c for 30 to 40 mins or until golden brown dish up with your favourite potatoes and veg.
The magic will disipate into the pie giving it body and flavour beyond a meat pie and believe me kids (no matter what age they are) do love it. just dont tell them what the magic in the pie is. p.s. the beer or wine is for you whilst preping your meal
