well done to rangers i thought they were the better team, they wanted it more and looked hungry for the win. The complete opposite from the previous 3 old firm games. I though the ref had an absolute shocker 2 penalties for rangers and a possible penalty for celtic. Also how he never sent off mulgrew for the proffesional foul on jelavic i will never know.
Have to say although I am disappointed in losing the final I am more disappointed in how the team performed, we are by far the better team between the two, but never turned up esp in the 2nd half. Fair play to Rangers they showed they wanted it and got the result for their endeavour. I couldn't even pick a man of the match in a Hoops top and that is testimony to how poor we were.

Rangers made Celtic play poor. In there face from the off something they hadnt done in previous games. Celtic didnt expect it and couldnt cope with it. Simples. Ref was a disgrace.
Just back this morning from the game and have to say that Rangers deserved it. Agree with what's been said - wanted it more and imposed there game on Celtic. Thought Celtic played pretty well in 1st half and played football, but in the 2nd half it changed and Celtic played simular tactics to Rangers - long ball. As soon as Brown went off I feared the worst and Davis was good in the middle of the park.
Thought Celtic had the 1st half, but Rangers had the 2nd and extra time. What I would say about ref is that we thought he was shocking as well. The only thing he got right was booking your man there for diving, but he couldn't wait to give the pen in the first place.
Well done Rangers and bring on the 7th Glasgow derby! I think whoever wins that will effectively win the season, as I can see that as a title decider.
To be fair to the ref for the pen he chalked off he was in the right position. there was contact however on the knee. About as much contact as there was for Wilson falling down in the box yer no card for that. And while were at it how did Mulgrew stay on the park as last man chopping down Jelavic.
I saw it differently to that mate and it was right in front of me! Your man took a dive and he was booked for it. But you won, so it don't matter eh? It didn't effect the result.
the referee must have seen the challenge by mulgrew as a foul rather than a proffessional foul ie he played to win the ball and fouled the player as a result rather than fouled the player to stop a goal scoring chance.
