    Baltimore Orioles

How's about them Orioles?! So far, they're 4-0, which is a better start than anyone would probably have expected. I hope they continue to do well. It'd sure be nice to have 2 winning teams in Baltimore...

Im in Washington and went yesterday to watch the Nats play Atlanta and they got hammered 11-2. First baseball game for me and it was entertaining, bit of a boring game to watch but the entertainment during the games are great. I can understand the pull for it though as there was lots of fat blokes sat about eating for hours on end must like like paradise for some.

Been to the Bronx a few times to watch the Yankees. Loved it! & was lucky enough to see A-Rod hit 2 homers.

Out of the US sports I'm a basketball man. 'It all about 18!' Lets Go Celtics!

As an American baseball has gone downhill watching game that end 11-7 is not baseball. I can't stand when they do the espn stare and not run toward first base. I can go on and on. Baseball is a great game the don't play it great. Basketball i used to love Boston and Larry Bird were great but now it has been totally taken over by trash talking nobodys. Teams can't even score 100 points a game. Why? cause they can't shoot it's not like defense has got better cause getto players don't defend they hog the ball and take as many shots as they can regardless if they win or not it's all about me league. I could go on and on about that too. I guess you can like what you want but those two are the worst played sports in America.

Yeah. Basketball has changed. For me it started to change with the great Bulls side who had 3 massive egos (at least), but at least they were winning everything in sight at that time. Now nearly every team has at least the one massive ego which all play goes through and he seems to only be bothered about his own figures/stats.

The glory vintage years of Bird and Magic and before that seem to have gone. Players are a damn sight more selfish now. Can't stand Kobe Bryant, the biggest ego of them all!

Maybe you should start a US Sports thread Wolfpack? I'm sure there will be a few comments (Boomer...), but there might be some interest?

The worst thing to happen in sports is when the NHL tried to copy the success of the NBA and totally ruined it. I loved hockey but when they turned the NHL into European hockey league that was the last sport (except for golf) i watch in USA.
