Torres won't be sold. Will he score again? Yes once Drogba and Anelika are sold. Torres gets no service cause either one of them won't pass to him. Did Torres get service when on Liverpool? no. Was he foolish to leave Liverpool? yes and no but does it make a difference now. I think between his hamstring and knee he has lost 1/2 step. Look what happen to Michel Owen. Well i think at present no one can afford Messi and he is very happy at Barcelona.

Maybe in 3 years time when his peak is over then he may go to the italian league (which seems to be the most favorite league for retirement.)

I think Torres will score goals again until at least he fakes another injury .Why is it crazy spending some of the money from the sale of Torres on Carrol ? He isn't back to full fitness yet and is already looking value for money.

Liverpool could of got Carrol for 5 mil over the summer. I guess 10 goals make you 7x more. No matter what Liverpool paid to much cause now it's going to make players worth more that don't deserve it.

i think the ?50mill was more to do with the wage/transfer caps coming in a few years time based on this and last seasons numbers ( like in the USA)
