Still think Khan would have won, but that was a disgrace stopping it for that cut, have seen premier league players carry on with worse cuts than that.

Both right... what a load of horseshite.. Khan v Bradley will be Khan's big pay day..
Then that will probably be the last we'll see of Khan and his bandwagon.. (from a boxing perspective anyway)
Barry Hearn lost the plot at the end eh??.. who could blame him.. got a feeling he'll be looking for a rematch though

That was a bitterly disappointing end for the McClosky camp. Personally I have been following McCloskey for a long time and have had attended two of his fights. I must admit that he was well beat in the first few rounds but he always get stronger as fights go on.

As for Kahn all that he is is a moneygrapper with a big ego. In his interview after the fight he said that it was an easy fight (which it wasn't) and he said that McCloskey was european level and he was world class. The only reason that Khan will not do a rematch is because he is after the big money fights in the US.

He was asked if he would go up a weight after the fight tonight and he squirmed his way out of the question that is because Kahn would would be absolutely dedstroyed by a fighter like Pacqui or Mayweather.

Sorry if this sounds like a rant but I think that the way that fight ended tonight was a shambles and Amir Khans attitude is deplorable and greedy.

agree totally. The decision was a disgrace. And how could the judges score every round to Khan? He was lucky if he landed ten punches in the whole fight. McCloskey made him look like a donkey missing all the time.
Ive watched McCloskey for years and he always finishes strong, he would have went on to win quite comfortably if the fight wasn't fixed.
If you look at replays of the 'accidental' clash of heads, you will quite clearly see Khan does it deliberately. He leads with the head with no intention of landing the punch on the outside and rubs his head in McCloskeys face after the clash.
I hope he gets a rematch but I think the only way to get it is if the wba order it because Khans team will definitely not give him one. One of the most farcical decisions ever witnessed in a British ring

Politics and money are killing boxing and UFC is stealing the show. I've been a boxing fan for years but I have to say, if Mayweather v Pacquiao doesn't happen, I'll maybe switch to mms myself.

And disgraceful decision by the doctor and ref tonight. Just last week Eric Morales couldn't see out of his right eye from the 3rd round and he lasted the full 12.

Awful decision and a hollow victory for Khan. I feel McCloskey would have made it a much tougher contest in the later rounds, they had a game plan to get through the earlier rounds knowing Khan tires, who knows what would have happened. Each time McCloskey caught Khan he seemed to hurt him and I feel McCloskey could well have won the fight, although Khan had no say in the ending of the fight, his interview after it was egotistical and he has lost a lot of respect from the boxing public.

shame it was stopped kahn was by far the better fighter, the other guy started cocky but after the 5th roud was really unsure of what to do. there is no doubt khan would have won anyway

Thats McCloskeys style of boxing, it's not him being cocky, he has always fought like that, hanging his chin out, hands down and relying on his speed and has been very successful with it. I do however feel that style was always likely to catch up with him as he met better boxers, much the same as naz.

I was at the fight and McKlosky should have been allowed to fight on. It was the best atmosphere at any sporting event I have ever been to.
