Thoughts on the Gers v Tic game...

Guys just asking for peeps thoughts on the game and how it effects the league title.

I thought Celtic were the most negative we have been all season. I wasn't happy with the set up at all and thought we played into Rangers hands. I thought Rangers had the first 60 mins and Celtic had the last 30. Chances for both sides, but I can't recall Forster making a save, where as McGregor made 3 great saves.

With Celtic getting the pen and missing it in the 84th min it feels like a loss for us. And we all know what was going to happen as soon as Samaras took the ball. Has that cost Celtic the league?

How do peeps think it will pan out now & was the draw a better result for Celtic than Rangers?

Best 0-0 draw I've seen in a while, fair result in my opinion.

Jim, you're bang on again. Thought it was a great game. On the edge and nervy for the full 90 odd mins. It was 0-0, but it could have been 2-2 or 3-3.

Lenny set out for a draw, that disappoints me, when Stokes and Commons came on we took control of the game, had they been on from the start with Hooper we would have walked that game as we are a much better side than Rangers imho. I also think he took a chance with Ledley and now he's ~~~~ed, good entertainment but I'm very disappointed in the result.

Yeah looks like Ledley is out for the run in now. Playing Ki instead of Commons was negative and like you - that disappoints me. Samaras should have been hooked at half time.

I thought Lennon got it just right. A draw was always going to be a good result for Celtic and he put out a team out to make sure he got at least that. When Rangers weren't making Foster work my belief is that lennon then decided to try and win the game and made some changes.

A draw and a difference of 8 goals in Celtics favour so I don't think anyone should knock him for going negative for most of the game.

I understand what your saying jim, and it may well prove to be a master-stroke in the run in, but I just feel we would have beaten Rangers had we have put out an attacking team, Commons, Stoke and Hooper are a formidable trio, we carried Hooper(he doesn't play well with Sammy) and Samaras (he just doesn't play) for the bulk of the game, so in effect played with 9 men . We shall see, there are some very tough games for both sides in the next few weeks.

You Celtic supporters are never happy . To be honest I'm surprised that we were still in the hunt after losing Bayd and Miller.

At the end of the season I'm sure you'll look back and say he played the % game and got it right.

I think maybe before the game I would have took a draw, but now I'm thinking... I canni see Rangers dropping any points and we have got 2 big games at Caley & then Hearts. I think we might need Dundee United to do us a favour at Ibrox again.

Aff yer heed... Worst most can see for Celtic is 2 draws and 1 for Rangers then the goals would come in to it.

My thoughts are 1 draw each so Celtic win on points.

If he'd gone out attacking and they'd got caught on a break then things would have become hard, if they got caught again then advantage Rangers.

Be happy Byoys Lenny won you the title yesterday...

Oh away wi ya Jim! Dunni give us any of that you've won the title.

Go on then, tell us who are Rangers slipping up against? I can't see one. Hearts never get anything at Ibrox, Killi are shite now that Pat's gone, Motherwell away would have been a stinker for us, but can you see McCall getting his side wound up for that? He might even put Sutton on the bench eh? So that only leaves Dundee United at home who you just humped 4-0.

We could easily drop points at Butchers Caley, then the pressure will be on..

Motherwell has always been the game that worries me. Even if we'd won on Sunday i was thinking the advantage would go in the very next game. I still think those 8 goals will do it for Celtic.

Just hoping I've got it wrong

                        Maybe no Motherwell then

Looks like it's gonna go to the wire, two good results by both sides.
