What should of been a great game turned ugly. Real Madrid was playing not to lose so they had no chance to win. I thought the ref did a good job and the red Pepe got he deserved. Their was just to much diving and rolling around on the pitch from both sides. I was surprised Ronaoldo wasn't the one crying the most. Messi did make a great run thru Real Madrid defense and scored a great game. I know everyone says messi is the greatest now ut i said all along all they do in Spain is dive and cheat their way thu the game and last night just proves it.

I see everyone compare him to Maradonna like Maradonna was the greatest player ever. He was great but was he better than Pele? no. Was he better then Beckenbauer? no. Was he better than Zidane? no. Will Messi become one of the greats? Until he can show that forum for the national team he won't come close. Right now he not even in Gerd Muller class.

George best was the best player i have seen too, if he had won trophy`s at international level for Ireland, then the world would be talking about him forever as the best footballer that breathed..

I know we have had the discussion about Messi before on several occasions over the last 12 months or so. For me he is by some way the best player in the world and has been for the last 2 years. Though he's still got a long way to go before he gets to the likes of Maradona and Pele.

Agree Matty.. Messi outstanding player wit babca but not wit the argies btw there were 7 to 8 players on the bacra side that should be ashamed the way they were feigning. They must have looked like right ars@holes if they watched the replay of the game. Mourinho if he leaves R.M. i would like him to go to Man City cos i was one who admired him but not now..BTW i'am not haven a go at barca it's just the players on that night it was a game of two cheating sides and barca conned the ref more then rm did.
