A few of us are just going to head down there and see what happens and if we cant get in to the game then the pubs and bars around Wembley will be teeming with fans in the same boat. The atmosphere will be electric regardless of the result. Many Utd fans I know are entering into this one quite relaxed as we are expected to get nothing from the game. The other option is to keep an eye on the MEN arena, they opened that for the final against Chelsea and thousands of fans watched the game on the huge screen. I didn't go but those that did said it was amazing.

    Warning contains nuts

Can't you get a boat to Liverpool then the train (or National Express) to London and stay somewhere like a Premier Inn or Travelodge somewhere like Watford..? Watford to Euston is only 15 mins..

In fact if you stay at Watford you can get a bus to Stanmore (10 mins) which then is about 10 minutes on the Tube to Wembley Park..

You could do it a lot cheaper than that mate, I priced up a rtn trip to Istanbul at ?1500 3 days before the final and got to Cyprus for ?200 before I was denied entry to Greece..

Seems like a lot of bother m8... especially when you can fly from any Irish airport to London for about 70 euro.

This doesnt surprise me...I was in Rome 2 years ago for the CL final gig and all bars and pubs were shut from the morning of the final...
We had got beers the previous day so were sorted... as did most fans..
Most bars/pubs were open but only serving soft drinks food etc,
but they didnt mind us drinking our beer outside and using the tables and chairs, provided we bought some food now and again.
It was a pain not being able to find a drink to drown our sorrows after the game... hopefully you guys wont need to drown your sorrows

Looking more into it and phoning a few bars around the area it looks like its true, also spoke to a few people on utd website and they are saying so.. so looks like i do the same as i normally do when were at wembley, Kings cross to start, and then see what happens!! I am wanting to get into wembley about 30mins before kick off

to be fair i spent ?1000 on a celtic ticket in seville and never regretted although as its a one off for celtic to reach euro finals i felt i had to pay if i followed man utd who have a decent chance most seasons not sure id spend that.

I've been to FA cup finals and 1 LC cup final never been to a CL final so a grand for 2tickets it' a bargain compared to wat they are looking for 1 ticket just hope the ash cloud doesn't ground flights on thursday
