    Congratulations

Congratulations Neil Lennon on a superb end to the season culminating in winning the Scottish cup, a well deserved victory and hopefully the first of many trophies, a big hand too for the Celtic fans who made the cup final a wonderful occasion for all, excellent stuff

Yep totally agree after all Neil has been through in this his rookie season as manager. He seems to have a strong character and showed courage in the face of adversity so let's hope Mr Desmond and the board see fit to give him a long term contract.

Could have so easily have been the Double that Lennon lifted.

He lost out to Rangers in the League title by a measly single point and all during his rookie year and whilst under the most unbelievable pressure.

What's ironic is that if those idiots who posted the bombs and bullets in an effort to scare him into quitting hadn't done so, then maybe Lennon would have walked away at the end of the season (unlikely, but it was a possibility). Now he's determined more than ever to stay at Parkhead, the only way he'll leave is if something actually does happen to his family.

Exactly witchy, they seem to have made Lennon more determined not only to stay but to succeed, all credit to him and his guts, it hasn't gone unnoticed by the Celtic fans either.

Yeah congratulations getting beat to the league by a club who was on its knees financially couldnt always put a full compliment of player on the bench. Who were older and slower according to Kris Commons (who has now pulled out on Scotland coz he is tired ) Well done. We were on our knee's and you still couldnt take the league title. Well done indeed.

Aye balance up the 10 teams 2 horse race compared to the 20 teamed 4 horse race down south it works out equation wise the same

Splashing out?? What was Celtic's net spend? I think you will find that Lennon was actually in the black by a long way (Mcgeady, Boric, Fortune, Mcmanus) to name but four brought in 14 million and Lennon spent nowhere near that. Compare that to no dough Rangers who spashed 4 million on one player (about the same Celtic paid for Kayal, Hooper, Commons & Izaguirre).

Well done Rangers & Smith for winning the league, having the know how and experience to get you over the line. And well done Celtic & Lennon, who have totally re-built the team in one summer, bringing in young exciting players, playing the best football in the league and having something to show for it.

THIS IS NOT THE END, IT'S JUST THE BEGINNING.

                        4 horse race since when???
when did a team other than them 2 win the league? think it was aberdeen under taggert.
and that was 25+ years ago... can you say the same for england??? no way... think this is man city's 1st top 4 for yonks, spurs were 4th last season, 2005,everton were 4th. ok, lfc chelsea, arsenal and some other team have been "top 4" mostly, but not for as long as in scotland.. rangers have won the league 50+ times. celtic, similar... us and them combined= 37.... need i say more???

You could but it would only end up like half the threads in the sport section the same old shite over and over. Also money makes teams which you have just proven by you statement. Man City big contenders next season

Virtually every thread about Scottish football has at least one post from a Liverpool fan saying "our league is better than yours...." It's boring guys. Can't you find something else to say or maybe say whatever on another thread?
