grand prix : the killer years

BBC iPlayer - Grand Prix: The Killer Years

Film exploring how Grand Prix drivers like Jackie Stewart grew sick of their closest friends being killed on racetracks in the 60s and early 70s, and took control of their destiny

The control of information is the consolidation of power

?I care not what puppet is placed on the throne of England to rule the Empire. The man who controls Britain?s money supply controls the British Empire and I control the British money supply.? ? Nathan Rothschild

watched this the other night,a real eye opener, mainly regarding health and safety or lack of it in grand prix circuits and car build quality, during the sixties and seventies.human life comes over as secondary to profit.

i watched this today,,never seen a lot of that footage before,,,the thing that struck me most was in this day and age we think drivers have got balls,,,,but compared to jim clark jackie stewart emmerson fittipaldi etc,,,they truly had nerves of steel,,,week in week out watching your mates burnt alive etc and then carrying on the next week knowing it could be you next
my hat goes off to all of the past grand prix stars
