Poor game to watch.
I'm not gonna try and dissect the game, a win is a win at this latter stage of qualifying.
But the formation and players starting positioning left a bit to be desired, seemed like square pegs in round holes sort of thing, Downing on the right and stuff you know, I know Downing set up the goal, but he is better suited on the left, but then where do you fit Young in?
A bit like the world cup farce, playing Gerrard on the left wing and others out of position just to fit them in.
