England got what they deserved, they've been rubbish all the way thru n all the off the field antics did not help they're cause either.

Im not a Rugby fan really but i do like the All Blacks have watched quite a few of they're games, but they are always the favs or 1 of the favs in every wc and then let everyone down. If they don't win then id like to see Wales win the cup, brilliant performance by them today.

Agreed, but is "Winning Ugly" something to be proud of?

Rugby is supposed to be a spectator sport. The fans deserve more.

I thought I'd ask for peeps predictions on the quarter finals? I for one can't wait for the games, 3 out of 4 have the potentially to be crackers.

I'm going for All Blacks, South Africa, Ireland & England to go through to semis. Though the Ireland,Wales & Aussie S Africa games could go either way.

A question what I have from you guys in the North. Will you be supporting Ireland or does it not concern you that much? And has the change of anthem helped people from the north accept the team?
People don't like to be reminded of things that hurt , like losing !

From what i saw of the English game they were rubbish.

If they got past France i couldnt see them beating Wales.

Well done Wales will be routing for you now.

The other semi should be a good game and im hoping the South Aficans can spring a surprise as if Wales do go all the way its their best chance of winning.

Aye, I really thought after the Australia & Italy games that we had a great chance of getting to the final. The team will be broken up now and that will have been the last world cup for quite a few. ROG, BOD & O'Connell will be very difficult to replace - all world class. Transition time now for Ireland, may not be a great few yrs ahead..

Agree there matty i think they will play there last six nations and then retire from the international scene.

I don't think that team owe us a thing Leo. They have been a great Irish team that could/should have had 3 or 4 grand slams behind them. They have given us a lot of highs over the 10 years and domestically put Irish club rugby on top in Europe.

Gutted for the Welsh today. Deserved to win there, should have won there and would have done the final credit.

As for the French.. How have they got there???? They are poor!

                    Well played Wales.
