irishman brendan dolan became the first player to hit a live double to start 9 dart finish last night at the 2011 world grand prix dublin the 500/1 outsider at the start of the tournament had already claimed 3 shock wins before meeting james wade in the semi final which he won 5-2 and included the rare double to start 9 darter 160-180-161 finishing on the bull which earned him a 5 grand bonus, he now plays phil taylor in tonights final where taylor is huge favourite to end his winning streak. i've seen dolan quite a few times before this tournament and i never rated him but he's played brilliantly this week,i do hope anyone that took the 500/1 for him had it e.w (250/1).
